How to do a Monthly Review
Review the month ahead and think long term
Look a month ahead on your calendar and get a handle on what is on the horizon.
Think longer term about things you want to get done and add any tasks or projects to your Master List that you may have missed.
Set up your Upcoming folder to be your rough plan for the month
Review anything remaining in your Upcoming folders from last month.
If it is still important for the coming month, leave it in Upcoming.
Move anything that is no longer a priority to Someday to be reviewed next month.
Review the contents of your Someday folders and decide:
If something is no longer important, delete it.
If something is important for this month, move it to Upcoming.
Otherwise, leave it and reevaluate next month.
Do Weekly and Daily Reviews
Now, you have goals for the month. You are ready to plan the week ahead and make a plan for your day.
