How to do a Weekly Review
Review the week ahead on your calendar
Get a handle on what is coming up in the next week or two.
Add any tasks or projects to DailyBalance that you may have missed.
Move everything that you hope to accomplish to your This Week folder
Review the remaining tasks from last week in your This Week folders.
If they are still important for the coming week, keep them. Otherwise, move them to Upcoming.
A good practice is to first move everything in This Week to Upcoming. This way you can just go through your Upcoming folders when planning the week.
Review your Upcoming folders and drag anything that is a priority to This Week.
If you did a monthly review at the start of the month, the Upcoming folder will already contain your goals for the month.
Break tasks down into sub-tasks
DailyBalance allows you to break down each task into sub-tasks to any level of detail.
When reviewing tasks, give some thought as to what is the next one or two actions you can take to move that forward.
Add these actions as sub-tasks to capture this thinking.
Do a Daily Review and plan your day
Now, you have identified what you want to accomplish this week, you are ready to plan your day.
